“It’s heartbreaking. I never thought that we would see not only people as victims, but this time it’s the adorable pets. I don’t even want to look at the dogs that died because they were trapped in cages and couldn’t escape,” said Chadchart Sittipunt, Bangkok governor, after inspecting the damage at Chatuchak Weekend Market, which caught fire before dawn on Tuesday.
