Bluport Hua Hin immigration office moves to third floor
The Prachuap Khiri Khan Immigration Office located at Bluport Hua Hin has officially moved from the basement level (B Floor) to the shopping mall’s 3rd floor. The relocation took effect yesterday.
The new office continues to offer limited immigration services, including 90-day reporting, re-entry permits, 30-day extension applications (for visa exemption and tourist visas), and TM30 notifications. These services are available from 11am to 5pm (lunch break 12pm to 1pm). Continued …
Expect road closures for water pipeline work in August
Officials from Hua Hin City Municipality have visited the site of a new water pipeline project to publicize upcoming road closures on Amnuaysin Road and Sarasong Road. The closures are required to facilitate the installation of raw water pipes aimed at improving the city’s water distribution network.
The road closures will take place in two phases: Phase 1: From Phra Pok Klao Road to the Top Center intersection, scheduled for Aug. 15–31; Phase 2: From the Top Center intersection to the Damnoen Kasem Reservoir, scheduled for Sept. 1–15. Continued …
20 stray dogs poisoned in Hua Hin
More than 20 street dogs have been poisoned on Soi 88, Hua Hin, in what is suspected to be a deliberate act linked to land clearance for construction. At least 10 dogs have died, with several more missing and presumed dead.
The dogs were part of a long-running sterilization and care program led by Caroline Meier and her team at Caro’s World–The Way of Magic. The group has successfully vaccinated and sterilized over 90% of the area’s stray dog population, while providing daily feeding and medical support. Continued …

Former Hua Hin expat seeks bail in murder trial
Graeme Davidson, a Hua Hin resident and well-known member of the local expat community, is seeking bail in Australia after being charged with the murder of his wife during a kayaking trip in 2020. Davidson, a former army major, had been living in Hua Hin since April 2021.
He was arrested in Brisbane earlier this year during a return visit and was charged with the murder of his wife, Jacqueline Davidson, and with multiple counts of fraud and attempted fraud in relation to life insurance claims exceeding AU$1 million. Continued …

Bus service between Hua Hin, Don Mueang Airport in BangkokThe first-class bus service between Don Mueang Airport and Hua Hin offers two round trips daily. The fare is 200 baht each way and takes three-and-a-half hours. The Hua Hin departure is from the current Transport Co. terminal just north of Hua Hin Airport.

Starting May 1, the Don Mueang-Hua Hin route will offer two round trips per day. The two outbound trips from Don Mueang Airport will depart at 8 am and 3 pm. The bus will stop at eight locations, including the Service Hall at Don Mueang, Mo Chit 2 Bus Terminal in Bangkok, Mahachai, Phetchaburi Big C, Phetchaburi Bus Station, Cha Am PTT Petrol Station, Bluport Hua Hin Resort Mall, and the Hua Hin Bus Station.
For the return trips from Hua Hin, buses will depart at 9 am and 3:30 pm, stopping at seven locations, including the Hua Hin Bus Station, Bluport Hua Hin Resort Mall, Cha Am PTT Petrol Station, Phetchaburi Bus Station, Mahachai, Mo Chit 2 Bus Terminal, and Don Mueang Airport.
