10-day music festival in Pranburi Dec. 1-10

Pak Nam Pran in Pranburi is hosting the “Lomwongman Music Pranburi” festival, a major music festival spanning 10 days, from Dec. 110.

Police target gun menace

A week before Loy Krathong, the Royal Thai Police (RTP) arrested 14,909 suspects in 14,339 criminal cases in a pre-festival crackdown.

EXAT planning 11 expressway projects over the next 10 years

The Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT) is planning 11 new expressway projects in the Bangkok metropolitan area and in the provinces over the next 10 years, with the earliest project expected to open for public use as soon as 2025.

The 11 projects include the construction of new expressways, as well as expansion of the existing infrastructure over a combined distance of more than 200 kilometers with a budget of 400 billion baht, EXAT Gov. Surachet Laophulsuk said on Friday. Continued …

‘Gold card’ pharmacy scheme helps patients avoid hospital

The Health Systems Research Institute (HSRI) is satisfied with the first-year implementation of the Extra Plus project, which allows members of the gold card universal healthcare scheme to receive medicine at pharmacies near their home for free.

A 60-year-old Norwegian national was injured when he accidentally drove his motorbike into a communication wire that was dangling across the road in the district of Sattahip yesterday.

More than 22,000 people registered for government debt relief on the first day of registration on Friday, Interior Ministry spokesperson Traisuree Taisaranakul said.
